9/11 WEEK OF SERVICE
NEVER FORGET WHAT WE’RE CAPABLE OF ACHIEVING TOGETHER.
On the September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance, Americans of all ages and backgrounds are invited to join and lead community projects to honor the lives and service of those who we lost on September 11, 2001. Join us in Service during the week of September 9-13th, 2024.
JOIN US IN OUR SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY.
- Host a Food Drive
- As part of this Week of Service, the Westmoreland Food Bank encourages you to host a food drive to help support our communities.
- Please consider hosting a food drive among your family, friends, workplace, community groups, or school! A lot of little actions (and items) really do add up when a group of people get together. No effort is too small!
- Remember, these efforts support your neighbors, children in your schools, and seniors in your community. Food drives supply a steady stream of nutrition to all of our programs including: Food Pantries, Community Meals, Military Share, Fresh Express, Mobile Market, and more!
- Download our Food Drive Toolkit for more information or to get started!
