INCREASING ACCESS THROUGH PERSONAL ASSISTANCE.

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as food stamps, is a federal program that helps households purchase food at the grocery store. Those who are eligible receive an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card which works like a debit card to make food purchases. The Westmoreland Food Bank assists individuals applying for this nutrition assistance program.

To find out more about the program or receive assistance with completing your application, call our staff toll free at 1-800-462-2080.
