ANNUAL DRIVES HELD THROUGHOUT WESTMORELAND COUNTY TO COLLECT MOST-NEEDED FOOD ITEMS

These drives provide us with thousands of pounds of non-perishable food every year.  Food drives help us keep our shelves stocked.  They also help raise awareness about hunger in our community and encourage others to help.

Fall Food Share

Volunteers hand out shopping lists to customers at the entrance of local Giant Eagle stores and collect donations as customers leave.

Held in:  October & November

Hunger Action Month™

Volunteers hand out shopping lists to customers at the entrance of local Walmart stores and collect donations as customers leave.

Scouting For Food

Scouts from Westmoreland-Fayette Council collect donations.  The donations are sorted in our warehouse by volunteers.

Held In:  April

Stamp Out Hunger

Local letter carriers and volunteers work together to collect donations during the country’s largest one-day food drive.

Held In: May

If you have a question about any of these annual drives, please complete the inquiry form and a Westmoreland Food Bank representative will be in touch shortly.
