Chief Executive Officer
As CEO of the Westmoreland County Food Bank, Kris M. Douglas oversees the distribution of more than 7.5 million pounds of food and grocery products each year through a network of 62 local partner agencies that feed the hungry across Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. Prior to being named CEO in October of 2012, Douglas served for three years on the Food Bank’s board of directors, attaining the title of Vice-Chairman of the Board. Douglas has an extensive financial background, having previously held management roles at FNB Corporation, National City Corporation, and A.G. Edwards & Sons Inc. He is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he holds a Bachelor of Science in finance, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Seton Hill University. He is a member of the Leadership Westmoreland Class of 2007. Douglas is also the past Chairman of the Board of Feeding Pennsylvania, the state association of Feeding America Food Banks. He is a board member of the Westmoreland County Blind Association. In addition, he is the past President of White Oak Rotary and a Pennsylvania Freemason, belonging to Shidle Lodge #601, where he is a Past Master. He resides in Irwin, Pennsylvania with his children, Joseph and Alexis.
