Receive Assistance | Military Share

You answered the call to serve our country—now, it’s our honor to serve you. The Military Share Program provides Westmoreland County’s active military members and veterans with monthly boxes of nutritious fresh, frozen, and non-perishable foods. These meals are a small token of appreciation for the sacrifices you and your families have made.

Through dedicated grants and funding, we ensure this program continues to support our heroes with reliable, high-quality food distributions throughout the county.

Veterans and Their Families

Food insecurity disproportionately affects members of the military, veterans, and their families. Many active duty service members and veterans face financial challenges that make it difficult to put food on the table. Westmoreland Food Bank’s Military Share Program is a vital initiative aimed at ensuring those who have sacrificed so much for our nation receive the support they deserve.

What makes the program especially important is its ability to foster a sense of community and support among military families. The Elks, VFWs, and other veteran organizations—provide a safe, judgment-free environment tailored specifically to their needs.
