Uniting for Healthier, Stronger Communities

Receive Assistance | Healthy Community Program

At the Westmoreland Food Bank, we believe that no one should face hunger alone. The Healthy Community Program creates powerful partnerships with healthcare providers, human service organizations, and schools to ensure those in need have access to emergency food items and life-changing nutrition education.

Together, we support patients, participants, and students who screen positive for food insecurity—because nourishing our neighbors means strengthening our communities.

A group of volunteers sorts food and water bottles into boxes outdoors on a sunny day, providing food help. One person holds a clear plastic bin while others organize supplies on a table for the local pantry.
Volunteers in light blue shirts unload boxes and canned goods from a car, working together outdoors to provide food help during a community food drive for the local pantry and Feeding America.
A person hands a glass jar filled with chickpeas to another at an outdoor food bank distribution table lined with boxes and jars of preserved food, offering much-needed food help to the community.
