Hunger Action Month Food Drive

During Feeding America’s Hunger Action Month, food drives are planned throughout the area at Walmart stores.

Groups and individuals are needed to man two hour shifts. Volunteers will hand out flyers to shoppers entering the stores to encourage them to purchase items from the list. In addition to food, volunteers also collect monetary donations.  Food donations are placed in our truck.  All supplies are provided by the Food Bank.

This year we will be holding drives between 9 AM – 3 PM at:

  • Mount Pleasant Walmart – October 1 & 2
  • Irwin Walmart – September 10 & 11
  • Latrobe Walmart – September 24 & 25
