Pantry coordinator, Richard Means, from Scottdale Area Association of Churches Food Pantry was awarded with the August Volunteer of the Month award. Pam Geyer, one of the dedicated volunteers at the pantry, stated that Richard, “Sure does a lot of work, as pantry coordinator.  Every month he undertakes the laborious task of organizing every component of the pantry, so that we can seamlessly serve our clients. Richard is calm and collected when dealing with paperwork orders, volunteers, clients and every other aspect involved.” WCFB thanks him for all he does month after month in his leadership role. WCFB has 43 pantries that require this type of leadership. It is not for the faint of heart, that’s for sure. Congratulations, Richard.
