Derry Food Pantry, coordinator Terri  Forsha,  nominated four special teachers from the Derry Area High School for the Volunteer of the Month awards. They were recognized for their dedication and leadership.  Awardees are Dave McCleary, Roy Campbell, Shannon Mazonni and Michelle Dorazio.  These outstanding teachers provide leadership for approximately 10 to 20 students every month at the pantry.  Students help distribute food, fill boxes and carry boxes to cars for clients.  “They even come during the summer months to fill the gap for able-bodied volunteers,” stated Terri Forsha. Westmoreland County Food Bank appreciates all that they do to help us with our mission of meeting the food needs of the community of Derry.
