Daniel Cox of Harrison City was awarded the July Volunteer of the Month award at the Delmont warehouse.  Dan is a sophomore majoring in Finance, this fall, at Penn State’s main campus.  He came to us this summer hoping to have a learning opportunity and a chance to see how our business as a food bank works. He had an opportunity to shadow some of the directors and participated in food distributions and monitorings, as well as, office and warehouse activities.  He has given over 200 hours of community service to our organization. The food bank staff  wishes him the best in his future and thanks him for his efforts.
