Bessie Fritz from Mount Pleasant was awarded WCFB’s March Volunteer of the Month award for her “huge heart”. Bessie volunteers monthly at the Mount Pleasant Food Pantry held at Church of God. She makes every feel comfortable at the pantry. She has a smile that will light up the room. She works on the line passing out food and sometimes offers her expertise to new volunteers. She also has helped at local food drives. She goes out of her way to make sure people at our pantry are treated well. She is the definition of what a volunteer should be.
